X Games Shred ResultsPosted on January 28th, 2008 by brabee | | 239 views |
The X Games were kind of boring this year, I am not going to lie. Oh and by the way, the foreigners are completely taking over! Is it good or bad? Ask Travis Rice. But that Backside 1260 was insane you have to admit… Sal Masakaela and Todd Richards were dynamite but what was with the used car salesman commentator with the lame comments and slick hair? Anyone see this dude? At one point he said something along the lines of “My kids have been trying to get me to say this for year and I am very ashamed of saying this but, that was SICK!”. Come on ESPN. Stop hiring these whack jobs to do commentary. So what he is good at reading a teleprompter. Get someone who knows our industry. Just pay Todd Richards a little more extra dough and have him doing the hiring. Did anyone else catch how bummed Todd was when Vito got jacked during his run? Thought dude was going to shed a tear…. I feel you though Todd, seeing Louie shred the superpipe in front of millions of viewers, riding an Omatic Shredstick, has to be way better than watching your kid in his first at bat in his first tee-ball game.
Anyways, I look forward to the rest of 2008 and the smaller contests that will be going on. I am getting sick of these huge glamourized events like the X-Games. However I do think the Dew Tour is actually doing a very good job. Take notes ESPN.

Posted by brabee I am a computer nerd who loves to shred. I love technology, art, and rad websites. I also love my wife. She shreds with me. Note to all guys: find a wife that will rides and you will have a happy marriage. I am also the dude that started SESHN.com. I started Seshn because I thought there was a real void in the industry for a site that could give people interesting news and blogs on topics they actually are interested in. How many sites are out there that have the same boring press releases and information. Seshn gives users behind-the-scenes stuff that you don't find on typical sites. Not only that but we also help companies with their own blogs and rss aggregation needs. http://www.seshn.com |
