Back in late 2006, we started working with some new ideas on paper. Uninspired by the current status of pack and luggage design in the snow market, we worked with Burton to design CityLine. The idea was to build upon a daybag line that was specific to the end use while taking a step away from the traditional aesthetics of the snow pack design. We worked within the collective process of Burton including the rider team, dj’s, photographers and designers that ride. Everyone was asking for a bag they could use everyday without having to feel like they should have a shovel and probe attached to the their back. After a number of concepts, round-tables and work within the collective process, we narrowed it down to a group of bags that reflected the brand. Here are some of the images of those styles.
